Period of Peace

I learned a little something
on one of my many trips
out to the mountain.
The view at the top
is really
only as peaceful
and serene
and beautiful
as the peace
serenity
and beauty
you brought with you.

  1. I love and appreciate this poem. It reflects the truth found in Psalm 121:1: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills whence cometh my help.“ To me, it means you have to rise above the problem, the issue, or the dilemma to get to the resolution you’re seeking.
I think it was Emerson who observed, “The world is too much with us.” (And he didn’t have to deal with the Internet.) ❤️🙃❤️
Good job! Love 💕 you! Gramma
