A Grave Most Shallow

We must abolish this notion
that it is okay to be broken;
that it is acceptable
to stay stagnant
in our shortcomings.
While I agree
that embracing our flaws
is of the utmost importance,
if we are not constantly working
on bettering ourselves
we are dooming ourselves,
instead.
