How great it feels
to be told
that someone loves you.
How worthy
you must feel!
But that is an illusion,
my friend.
When someone tells you,
‘I love you,’
he is telling you
about himself,
not you.
Likewise,
when someone angrily tells you
‘I hate you,’
it is not about you
but rather
themselves.
Our world views
are quite literally
only relevant to ourselves.
